Well, the electricity came back on over the weekend. Here, we mostly had straight line wind damage. It knocked the power out and damaged many homes and businesses. It took the power company almost a week to get electricity on here. I actually enjoyed it for the most part, but I am very happy to have my laptop and studio up and running. This week I'll be starting to work on getting my main studio put together. It will be separate from the pottery studio. I'm very excited to have the space where I can work and explore all the ideas I have bottled up in my head.

Not in Kansas Anymore
Wednesday, September 10, 2008The past two months have created a whirlwind of excitement that is chased with anxiety. I have gone from working as an assistant teacher to being self-employed. However, I have hope that this endeavor will lead me along a path which will bring a joy that one daydreams about. I will keep you posted and up to date on the journey, and we shall see where in Oz I land.
